Visiting Wineries In Napa Valley? Stock Up On Picnic Supplies At the Oakville Grocery.

Freshly baked breads. Gourmet sandwiches made to order. Salami sliced with Artisanal cheese. Picnic baskets. $30 olive oils. Tasty and beautiful pastries. Wines, wines, and more wines. Fancy salt blends. Well-stocked olive bar. Coffees and sweet frozen treats like the Vanilla “Oak-accino.” This is the kind of place where they take one single Oreo cookie, dip it in chocolate and then charge you as much as you’d pay for a whole bag, but it’s so good you don’t seem to mind. Oakville Grocery. It’s a 120 year old “little country store” they say. And it’s adorable. A must stop-in on your drive between wineries. Just be careful pulling out of the parking lot. It’s a busy road. In Oakville, not too far from St. Helena on Highway 29. With locations also in Healdsburg and Palo Alto.
