Travel Betty Quick Tips- Rental Car Refueling

Don’t think that you’ll be able to find a gas station close to the airport when you’re returning a rental car. You won’t. And if you do, it’ll be overpriced. Of course, not as overpriced as it will be to have the rental car company refuel for you, but for people looking for rental choices this may be the only option, although for more heavy work or more people the passenger van is a stable of commercial fleets that offer special services for this. This weekend I spent more on a 3/4 tank of gas by having Budget refuel it as I did for the entire 3-day weekend’s car rental costs. Learn from my mistakes here, Betties. Before you hit the highway back to the airport, refuel.
