Agree with Thailand Adviser. Travel across province is easy and cheap in Thailand. Harder to move around in Bangkok.

Speedcat, good luck with your new travel endeavors. I found that simply making travel a priority makes it possible.

Karen, traveling with a friend is a great way to do it! My trip to Bali taught me that I CAN travel alone, but I prefer company.

JoLynn, wow, I’m so jealous of you. Glad to hear you were able to live the life a lot of us dream of. AND that you’ve been able to transition into a life you’re happy with since all the jet-setting.

Thailand adviser, it’s definitely easy to travel in Bali without a guidebook too. Just ask the friendly locals for suggestions!

Well I do agree with Jolynn, But in Thailand it is easily to travel from place to place without Travel Book.

Hi, in a previous life my life was travel, now I’m sitting at the computer all day – nope, not complaining, and I still get out, especially to hit the slopes – something I wasn’t doing while traveling.

Sounds like a really good book Betty. I usually find a friend to travel with but I know a number of women who want to travel but don’t because they have no one to go with. This sounds like the perfect read.

Sounds like a wonderful book. I am in the mist of “changing around” things in my life. Travel is one of the things I will add – my last time traveling was so long ago …not counting work trips.
